Day 1

Airport Pick Up + Hotel Check In

As your flight is approaching the Algarve, be transported by the fascinating views of the Ria Formosa lagoons, sandy bars blurring into the blue indigo sea, one of the 7 Natural Wonders of Portugal. Be welcomed at the airport by your private chauffeur, who will hold your name at arrivals. Then directly to the hotel for check in the accommodation of your choice:

Stay in a luxurious farmhouse on the hills of Eastern Algarve, surrounded by genuine little villages and beautiful landscapes almost untouched by the tourism. Enjoy a leisurely day at your picturesque house, tucked away among citrus trees and olive groves and relax from your journey.

Stay in a country hotel Quinta Dos Poetas on the hills of Eastern Algarve, surrounded by genuine little villages and beautiful landscapes almost untouched by the tourism. Enjoy a leisurely day at your nature hotel, relax on their large outdoor pool or have a stroll in their garden with lakes and native trees of the region.

Day 2

Traditional Goats Cheese &
Local Delicacies Tasting

Start the day in Salir, a little village in the middle of the hills of the Barrocal Algarvio.
Here you will visit a cheese dairy that is dedicated to the production of Algarve´s fresh goats cheese in a traditional way. You will have the opportunity to learn and participate in the whole process and make your own cheese. You can even try your hand at milking the goats!

The visit wouldn´t be complete without a tasting of fresh goat cheese with honey… Continue to Alte, another typical village, and taste some more local delicacies like traditional sweets and homemade liqueur.

Prestigious Wine Tasting

After enjoying lunch in a traditional restaurant, the day will continue with a visit to Tôr, another little typical village in the Algarve Hills. Here we will visit a winery, and learn all about wine production and its history.

You will, of course, have the chance to taste Algarve wines while enjoying beautiful mountain views

ALENTEJO

Venture into the south of Alentejo travelling through its stretch of plains, a magnificent landscape of sweeping fields of wheat dotted with tiny whitewashed villages, cork and olive trees.

Enjoy visits to the local vineyards, olive groves and taste their famous sheeps milk cheese

Day 3

Largest Olive Grove In Portugal

We leave the Algarve, direction Beja, the capital city of Baixo (bai-sho) Alentejo (South Alentejo).

The morning will start with a visit to the largest olive grove in Portugal - Quinta do Marmelo.

You will learn how one of the most prestigious olive oils in Portugal and in the world is produced – Azeite Oliveira da Serra. The Alentejo olive oil is known worldwide for its high quality and you can´t leave without tasting it…

Beja & Traditional Sheep´s Cheese Factory

Head to Beja, the capital city of Baixo Alentejo. Here you will enjoy a traditional lunch with all the local delicacies. After we will allow you some free time to walk around the historic town centre.

The day will continue by learning how one of the most famous cheeses in Portugal is made during a visit to a traditional sheep's cheese factory. And we won´t leave before tasting it, of course!

Hotel Check In

Stay In A Luxury Country Manor & Spa
On A Wine Estate

You can´t experience the real Alentejo without spending the night on a Wine Estate enjoying a luxury country manor, set among pristine natural surroundings. Relax, enjoy the wonderful facilities that the Estate offers such as panoramic pool, spa with hot tub and hammam. End the evening with a typical “Alentejano” dinner with beautiful views over the countryside.

Day 4

Save the best for last - Alentejo Wine Tasting

Because we like to save the best for last, we won´t leave this beautiful region of Portugal without tasting their world known awarded wines. Accompanied by the professionals, we will tour the estate, visit the vineyards, learn the production techniques and taste some of the best wines produced in Alentejo.

Overnight: Herdade da Malhadinha Nova (Albernoa, Beja) or Herdade do Vau (Serpa)

Day 5

Departure

It is time to say goodbye to the beautiful Alentejo and get ready for your private airport transfer that will take you back on a road trip to the Algarve.
