The spa with a hammam and various massage treatments are exceptional.

Day 2

Exploring Tunis and the Medina

Spend the day uncovering Tunis’ vibrant history. Start with a guided tour of the UNESCO-listed Medina of Tunis, a maze of narrow streets filled with colourful souks and historical mosques. In this tour you will be visiting the Royal Mausoleum of Tourbet el Bey - a resting place for many rulers of the Husainid dynasty. Keep on walking towards Zitouna Mosque, the largest and oldest mosque in Tunisia (non-Muslim visitors are not allowed to step inside the prayer hall). Inside the Medina you will also visit Dar Othman, one of the most beautiful palaces in the city.

The medina is the perfect place to shop for groceries and mingle with the locals. Here there are three main areas: the cheese and meat; the fresh seafood area and the vegetable and fruit section. Don’t miss the Souk Chaouachia and the skull hats vendors!

Overnight:  Tunis

Day 3

Day Trip to Carthage and Sidi Bou Said

From Tunis, you will depart on a day trip to Carthage and Sidi Bou Said to uncover some of the most incredible Roman ruins and waterfront landscapes. Upon arriving to Carthage, your guide will show you the Punic Ports and the Antonine Baths. These ruins used to be a complex built by the Phoenicians and rebuilt by the Romans: there is a Colosseum, an amphitheatre, baths, a Cathedral and a well-preserved Roman Villa.

Afterward, head to Sidi Bou Said, known for its whitewashed buildings and blue doors. Stroll through its charming streets, enjoy the views of the Mediterranean, and sip mint tea at a traditional café. You can almost imagine you are in Santorini!

Day 4

Gastronomic Tour in Tunis

Dive into Tunisia’s culinary delights with a private cooking class. Start the day with a visit to the Central Market of Tunis to shop for spices and local ingredients. Then, head to the cooking school quarter to learn how to prepare classic dishes such as harissa, tajine, and makroudh.

On this delicious adventure, you will learn more about the gastronomy and culture of Tunisia while savouring incredible Arab, Berber, French, Italian, and Ottoman cuisine. Did you know that pork is not consumed in Muslim countries? Also, the spicier, the better! Locals love adding heat to their dishes and combining sweet and savoury flavors.

Hotel la Badira 5*

Travel to Hammamet, Tunisia's premier beach destination. Today you will spend the afternoon relaxing on golden sands or indulging in a spa treatment at your luxurious seaside resort.

Your hotel in Hammamet will be La Badira.  There are 130 beautifully designed suites to choose from and some of them come with a private pool. For wellness treatments, there is the on-site Spa By Clarins that offers everything from massages with essential oils and a hammam, to an infrared sauna and treatments in hot salt water. Once you get hungry, go to one of the hotel’s restaurants and try delicacies such as forest risotto, stewed lamb, and shrimp ravioli.
