Day 1

Arrival in Monchique - Stay in a 5* Resort & Spa

As you touch down at Faro airport, you will see the fascinating view of the Ria Formosa lagoons, one of the 7 Natural Wonders of Portugal. Meet your private chauffeur at the airport and drive a bit less than an hour to Monchique hills.

 Nature Activities in Monchique Hills

Wake yourself up in this peaceful environment, get ready for a fitness class of your choice (Pilates, Body Conditioning, Stretching, Yoga and others available) or simply enjoy swimming in one of the beautiful hotel's swimming pools.

After your breakfast, choose between experiencing a Guided Cycling day to the Monchique hills through eucalyptus and cork tree forests – a Mountain Trails Walking Tour, - or a personally guided Jeep Mountain Tour through Monchique travelling off-road and tasting local Portuguese delicacies? You choose!

Day 3

Sensorial Spa Circuit

Today, discover the renowned “Thermal Spa Circuit”, of Monchique Resort & Spa, using the very best ingredients of the Monchique region. From Flor de Sal exfoliation, body hydration with local spring waters to warm mineral stone massage, indulge with the wonderful natural aromas of Monchique.

Have access to: Sauna with Himalayan rock salt, Steam Cabin, Aroma Cabin, Indoor Pool with Hydro Massage, Themed Tropical Showers, Igloo, Marble Heated Loungers, Spa Lounge Room, Light Relax Room, Deep Relax Room and Foot Baths.

Day 4

Seven Hanging Valleys Trail in Lagoa

Enjoy a morning at leisure. In the afternoon, meet with your private chauffeur and be driven to Algar Seco, Carvoeiro, where you will meet with your private guide. Start your walking trail and be amazed by stunning views of the Algarve´s southern coast. The “Seven Hanging Valleys” trail is the most stunning stretch of the southern coastline. Along the way you will see some of the most amazing natural sea stacks, sinkholes, complex limestone caves and a mix of turquoise ocean and warm-coloured cliffs.

Your last stop will be at Praia da Marinha, one of the most iconic beaches in the Algarve and considered by the Michelin Guide as one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in Europe and as one of the 100 most beautiful beaches in the world. Enjoy the sunset and feel free to have a swim while the team is preparing you a homemade tapas dinner!

Day 5

Thermal Spa Treatments with Alkaline Water in Caldas de Monchique

After a hearty breakfast, get ready for a guided walk to the picturesque village of Caldas de Monchique, famous for its alkaline mineral waters renowned since Roman times for their healing properties.

Enjoy a treatment at Villa Termal das Caldas de Monchique Spa, the only thermal spa in the south of Portugal whose alkaline and rich fluoride waters promote immediate well-being. Stand Up Paddling

After your breakfast, be picked up at the hotel reception and driven to Portimão.  Challenge yourself at Stand Up Paddling, in one of the best beaches of Portimão and one of Portugal best locations for Stand Up Paddling thanks to its river beaches, cliff-caves and smooth ocean waves.  Explore breath-taking caves and rock formations, paddling in pristine waters!

Day 7

Free Day in Monchique

Today, you can choose to spend your day at the gym, enjoying the amazing spa facilities of your hotel or booking other activities such as a Ceramix Workshop, where you will make your own pottery and relax your mind; experience the benefits of Nordic Walking and burn 40% more calories that a regular walk; hop on a Jeep Mountain Tour and taste local delicacies or experience Horseback Riding in a Natural Park.

Departure

It is time to say goodbye to the beautiful Algarve and get ready for your private airport transfer.
